This course is an introduction to small business ownership and management. During the course students will learn about the fundamentals of owning and operating a business while also learning what characteristics are needed to be a successful entrepreneur. Topics covered include starting a business, legal requirements, financing, franchising, marketing and business ethics. The course culminates with the student developing a business plan.
