Wayne Central High School

The mission of the Wayne Central High School Library Media Center is to foster a collaborative environment where all students can access learning. Our goal is to promote lifelong learning, critical thinking, effective communication, creative problem-solving, and effective decision-making in order to become reflective, analytical, and evaluative thinkers and communicators that will be competitive in an increasingly global society.

To support this mission, the Wayne Central High School Library Media Center will provide a comprehensive collection of literary resources, informational text, digital media, databases, and reference materials. Technology will be used to stretch students' imaginations, strengthen their engagement, and increase their understanding and achievement. This center will work collaboratively to support students and staff in their pursuit of both academic and independent research, reading for pleasure, and culturally diverse literature.
